My services as a wedding photographer serving the Midlands, Shropshire and Shrewsbury provide everything you need to tell the story of your day with style and flair. I'll use a variety of photographic styles, each relevant to the moment at hand. Reportage photography enhances the intimacy of romantic, candid moments; traditional portraiture is perfect for shots of Mum, Dad and the family; and the pictures of the happy couple – as well as the wedding party as a whole – will be inspired by the vivacity of fashion photography, full of style and life. My aim is simply to enhance your wedding experience and capture the memories with a fresh and modern style, whilst maintaining the timeless values of beautiful photography.
Capturing the romance of your wedding forever
It's really important that we meet – after all, you're allowing me access to the most special day of your life! In order to take beautiful photos in my role as your wedding photographer, I need to know you're relaxed and happy, and I want you to be assured that I can not only meet your needs but exceed them. You may already know what your "perfect wedding" will be – your "perfect wedding photography" will no doubt also be part of that, so it's crucial that I understand the two of you and your plans for the day. You also need to be sure that my modern style, which fuses fashion, reportage and elegance, is perfect for you. I'll only take on a job if I'm absolutely sure the style, products and experience of my photography will be right for you.
My wedding photography package starts with a pre-wedding meeting and engagement shoot, which takes place in an afternoon a couple of months before the big day. We'll meet up at a cafe or pub – your choice – and run through the plan and timings for the day. You'll be able to list your "must have" pictures – the essential combinations of guests that you can't do without. Once this is all in place, we'll take a relaxed walk together and you'll get used to being in front of the camera, while I find the best way to make you both look amazing on the big day itself. I'll then leave you for a couple of hours, head back to the studio and prepare the photos for your viewing and selection.
When the big day comes around, I'll photograph the excitement of the bridal preparations before the ceremony, along with the camaraderie (and final speech rehearsals!) of the groom and ushers. As the magic and romance of the ceremony unfolds, I'll create tender and evocative images that capture the sheer emotion of the occasion. Afterwards, the confetti and group shots will take place, followed by some private images of the two of you. I'll continue turning moments into memories throughout the reception, including the speeches, the cutting of the cake and, finally, the wonderful first dance.
The finished images I've captured as your wedding photographer will be uploaded to a password-protected online gallery so you, your family and friends can order prints at your leisure. I'll also come and see you with a projector and all your lovely wedding images; during this viewing, you will select those you want to keep for your CD and/or album (depending on which package you've chosen).
